These terms cover use of walesheat.co.uk and the Wales Heat matching desk. By sending a quote request or calling the desk you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What Wales Heat does

Wales Heat is a matching desk. We introduce homeowners and landlords in Wales to local installers for boilers, loft and cavity insulation, servicing, breakdowns, and landlord certificates. We are not the installer of record. The contract for survey, supply, and installation is between you and the engineer you choose.

Quotes

Figures discussed on the phone or after a form are estimates until an installer has surveyed the property and issued their own written quote. Availability, kit, and price can change after the survey. You are free to decline any quote.

Your brief

You must give accurate details so far as you know them — postcode, fuel, access, and the work you want. If the property is not as described, the installer may revise or withdraw the quote. Gas work is only matched to Gas Safe registered engineers.

Installers

Installers on the book remain independent businesses. They set their own labour and materials, hold their own insurance, and are responsible for workmanship, manufacturer warranties, and Gas Safe notification. Wales Heat does not guarantee a particular installer will accept a job or a particular price.

Site use

Do not misuse the site, scrape it, or submit false enquiries. Content on these pages is for information about our matching service. It is not a specification, a building-control approval, or a substitute for a survey.

Liability

We take care matching leads to coverage and tickets, but we are not liable for installers’ work, delays on site, or losses that we could not reasonably foresee. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms and the privacy notice. The date at the top of each page is the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new version.
